Cloud Sr DevOps Engineer

Strong experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
Develop & maintain automation procedures to assist with infrastructure automation
Execute application software build & deployments supporting applications across the enterprise
Develop & maintain scripts to automate existing manual build & deployment procedures
Source Code Management: TFS & GIT Administration - Create & Maintain Branches, Handle Periodic Code Merges, Source Code Repositories User Management
Work with Application Development & Operation teams to understand project specific needs with DevOps core function areas and implement the same
Evaluate existing processes & tools and implement changes for better efficiency
Analyze requirements and provide technical solutions for all automation needs
Coordinate the promotion of code to stage & production environments in support of all roadmap & emergency releases.
Experience in handling Production releases activities such as co-ordinating with application and Release Management Teams.
Provide configuration management support for all applications and projects
Show an understanding of the industry standards and practices and the knowledge of technical industry trends as they apply to client exisitng infrasture.
Work in a fast paced agile type environment and should be good at multitasking

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI tools like Jenkins.
Experience with deployments on Windows, Linux & AIX environments
Experience with Deployment Automation tools like IBM UrbanCode, Jenkins
Experience with any ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Change management process.
Experience in MSBuild & Maven based builds.
Hands-on experience on Azure Devops Pipeline, Agent Pool etc.
Deployment experience for Java, J2EE, Microsoft and Mobile applications
Strong source code administration experience with GIT preferred.
Experiencce with Docker , kubernetes are must and OpenShift experience is add-on.
Expertise in troubleshooting microservice applicaitons in kubernetes cluster.
Storong understanding in netwroking such as HTTP,TCP/IP protocals.
Windows IIS admininstaration is must.
Extensive experience with any one of these scripting languages is required - PowerShell, Shell & Python scripting for automation
Deployment experience with Mainframe applications using ChangeMan is a plus.
Background and familiarity with banking applications is preferred
