Deputy Manager _ Cloud Migration Engineer

1.Provides assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud. 
2.Plan and execute the migration of applications to AWS
3.Ensure infrastructure readiness considering specific application requirement
4 Identify and mitigate migration risks
5 Perform Application Go-LIVE cutover and ensure minimal downtime and data integrity during migration
6.This role includes ownership of technical, commercial and service elements related to cloud migration project engagements along with building IaaS/PaaS infrastructure landing zones.
7.Strong Experience on hybrid cloud solutions and experience of integrating public cloud into tradition hosting/delivery models
8.Implement cloud migration techniques and workflows (on premise to Cloud Platforms).
9.Assist with creating cloud migration strategies; defining delivery architecture, creating the migration plans, designing the orchestration plans, and more.
10 Assist in creating and executing migration run books.
11 Determine source clouds (Physical, Virtual and Cloud) and target Workloads.
12 Use troubleshooting skills and work closely with operations, support, engineering and/or other functions to ensure successful migrations.
13.As part of a team, research, analyze, recommend and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools and techniques to further Cloud offerings in support of our business
14 As part of a team, recommend tools/approaches for manageability, zero downtime, scalability, repeatability, automation.
15. Should contribute to develop tools to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
16. Should contribute to define and document standard operating procedures and protocols from a security perspective
17. Should be able to develop, support, and document automated build and configuration management processes.
 

Requirement

. Should be experienced in application transformation and modernization & data migrations projects.
2.Experience enough to perform discovery and assessment of a customer's overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap.
3.Should have sufficient experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Pipeline as Code (PaC), automated single click deployment, configuration management with large/mid-size applications via extensive Terraform scripting on GCP or AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
4.Experience planning and executing data-center consolidations, relocations, and migrations.
5 Ability to perform infrastructure discovery and assessments working with the Architecture team.
6.Demonstrated understanding of Data Center Operations (Production operations, Server, Storage, Network, Database Management, Systems Management, Helpdesk, DR/Business recovery practices)
7.Familiarity with functional operations of server, storage, and network functions.
8.Proven working experience in Orchestration environments like Kubernetes, Dockers,
