GCP/Azure Platform Engineer

What you’ll do

• Design and maintain infrastructure on GCP and Azure using Terraform and automation tools.
• Develop and manage ETL pipelines for large-scale data platforms and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Implement CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Cloud Build, and other tools.
• Work within agile and lean methodologies to deliver solutions efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with ITSM processes and utilise tools like JIRA, GitHub, and APIs.
• Participate in innovation and change initiatives to improve processes and systems.

Who you are

• 4+ years of experience in GCP/Azure infrastructure and data integration.
• Proficient in Terraform, Python, Shell scripting, and JSON.
• Strong understanding of GCP services including DataFusion, Dataflow, BigQuery, Composer, and Stackdriver.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with ITSM, JIRA, GitHub, and API invocation.
• Preferred certifications: GCP/Azure DevOps, HashiCorp Terraform.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Exposure to telecom domain and ITIL practices is desirable.
