Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end data pipelines (ELT) on modern cloud platforms (especially Snowflake)
- Define and evolve the target data architecture (Data Warehouse / Data Platform) in alignment with business and IT strategy
- Establish and implement data modeling standards, naming conventions, and architectural guidelines across domains
- Build and optimize performant data models (staging, core/transform, mart layers) following standard processes
- Implement and continuously improve CI/CD processes for dbt projects (deployment, testing, versioning)
- Ensure high data quality through testing frameworks, constraints, monitoring, and data quality checks
- Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production data pipelines
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents while continuously improving platform stability
- Optimize performance of SQL transformations and data workflows
- Translate sophisticated business requirements into scalable technical data solutions with measurable impact
- Collaborate closely in a Data Mesh Setup with data analysts, architecture teams, and business collaborators in the Domain Project to deliver data-driven use cases
- Create and maintain technical documentation and actively shape data engineering standard processes
- Support user adoption through documentation, knowledge sharing, and enablement initiatives.
