AI Cloud Platform Engineer

What you’ll do

• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, including modules and templates.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for efficient data workload releases.
• Contribute to DevOps engineering efforts across platform components.
• Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevSecOps practices to enhance automation and reduce manual tasks.
• Create and maintain scripts for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment.
• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate models and algorithms into cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage GCP Data Services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, and Composer for data processing and analysis.

Who you are

• Skilled in cloud platforms, especially GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure.
• Proficient in Python, Java, NodeJS, and shell scripting.
• Experienced with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Familiar with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices, including GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of enterprise security management, including GCP Secret Manager.
• Knowledgeable in GCP networking, serverless architecture, and data services.
• Experienced in containerisation using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational abilities.
• Adaptable and proactive in dynamic environments.
