AI Engineer

Mandatory Skills:

• 3–5 years overall experience, strong hands-on in Python
• At least one project experience in RAG OR MCP-based AI augmented development (design + implementation)
• RAG fundamentals: embeddings, chunking, retrieval strategies, grounding/citations (if RAG project)
• OR MCP fundamentals: client/server concepts, tool integration patterns, workflow orchestration (if MCP project)
• Prompt engineering (Mandatory): ability to craft and standardize prompts for reliable outputs
• Experience using common GenAI/ML ecosystem tools (any of: Hugging Face, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain/LlamaIndex, etc.)
• Practical engineering mindset: debugging, logging, error handling, performance tuning

Good to Have

• Fine-tuning awareness (LoRA/QLoRA/SFT) — not mandatory
• Reranking, hybrid retrieval (keyword + vector), evaluation frameworks for RAG
• Basic MLOps exposure: experiment tracking, model packaging, CI/CD, deployment basics
