Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models using Snowflake and dbt.
- Build reusable and maintainable dbt models, macros, tests, snapshots, and incremental models.
- Develop complex SQL transformations and optimize Snowflake queries for performance and cost.
- Design data models following dimensional modeling and modern data warehouse best practices.
- Implement automated data-quality checks, testing, documentation, and lineage using dbt.
- Work with Snowflake features including warehouses, databases/schemas, stages, streams/tasks, roles, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, performance issues, and data-quality problems.
- Participate in code reviews and establish engineering standards for SQL and dbt development.
- Collaborate with upstream/downstream teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable datasets.
- Support CI/CD and automated deployment processes for dbt projects across environments.
