Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated API test cases for RESTful APIs and web services.
Create API automation tests using Rest Assured and Postman.
Validate JSON and XML request and response payloads and verify API behaviour against requirements.
Use Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation and supporting scripts.
Develop and maintain reusable automation components and test frameworks.
Work with TestNG or JUnit and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
Perform database testing and backend validation using SQL.
Investigate test failures, troubleshoot defects, and work with development teams to identify root causes.
Follow Agile practices and contribute across the SDLC and STLC.
Document test results, defects, automation coverage, and relevant QA information.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to improve software quality.
