Job Description
- Lead hands‑on development efforts while mentoring and inspiring engineers to design, build, deploy and support high‑quality software and data solutions.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, design reviews and code reviews, ensuring alignment with LPL SDLC standards and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners including Product, Architecture, Operations, QA, Release Management and DevOps to deliver cohesive, end‑to‑end solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs, ETL pipelines, and cloud‑native services.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering system architecture, components, and workflows.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Actively participate in and help drive day‑to‑day POD activities using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience designing and developing ETL processes and data pipelines on AWS, utilizing Glue, S3, Python, RDS/Aurora, Athena and Event Bridge.10+ years of software development experience building scalable APIs and services using .NET/C#, Angular and AWS.
- Strong experience with Kafka and implementing event‑driven architectures.
- Experience using Terraform for infrastructure automation and data lake development is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience with source control and CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins or Jules.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Experience leveraging AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, Cursor, or similar technologies.
