AWS finops

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with DevOps, CloudOps, and Finance teams to develop and implement cost-efficient cloud architecture strategies.
Monitor AWS usage patterns, identify anomalies, and drive cost optimization initiatives across accounts.
Implement and manage FinOps tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, or similar).
Build and maintain automated cost reporting dashboards and KPIs.
Support chargeback/showback models and drive accountability with engineering/product teams.
Analyze Reserved Instances (RI), Savings Plans, and Spot Instances to optimize cost structures.
Provide recommendations for rightsizing, workload scheduling, and other optimization opportunities.
Maintain tagging standards and enforce cloud governance policies.
Stay updated on AWS pricing models, service changes, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, etc.).
Solid understanding of AWS billing, pricing models, and cost management tools.
Experience with FinOps practices, frameworks, and tools.
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight) Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
