AZURE Infrastructure Engineer

Level: Analyst/Consultant

As an Analyst or Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

We are seeking a skilled AZURE Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This professional will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure AZURE infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a wide range of AZURE services and tools, and will excel as an individual contributor.

The work you will include:

• Design and Architecture: Assist in developing and implementing AZURE infrastructure solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

• AZURE Services Management: Knowledge and experience with Azure Landing Zone, IAM, Compute, Storage, Networking, database services, and container services.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning and management.

• CI/CD Integration: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures.

• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills / Project Experience:

Must Have:

• 2 - 6 years of hands-on experience in <mention technologies and tools>

• Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience with AZURE infrastructure services.

• AZURE Expertise: Knowledge and experience with Azure Landing Zone, IAM, Compute, Storage, Networking, database services, and container services.

• IaC Proficiency: Experience in developing and managing Terraform modules.

• CI/CD Knowledge: Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Certifications: AZURE Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or similar certifications are desirable.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries

• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools

Good to Have:

• AZURE Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or similar certifications are desirable

• Understanding of Application and other infrastructure monitoring tools

• Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscape

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university   

Prior Experience:

3 – 6 years of experience working with AZURE infrastructure platform and Terraform scripting.
