Ansible Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong experience with **Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including deployment, configuration, and management.  
• Proficiency in developing and managing **Ansible playbooks**, roles, and workflows.  
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure management (Linux/Windows servers, storage, networking).  
• Familiarity with **HashiCorp Vault** or similar secrets management tools.  
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with AAP.  
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).  
• Knowledge of **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure

Qualifications – External

 To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in IT.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.  
• Experience with “Puppet-to-Ansible migration” or similar automation transitions.  
• Knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability architectures.  
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).  
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).  
• Understanding of ITIL processes and operational best practices. 
• Implement observability solutions to monitor AAP and infrastructure health.  
• Knowledge of Python programming
• Knowledge of devops tools. E.gJenkins,G3 etc.
• Desirable - Understanding of MFT Products like Sterling Integrator / Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct etc. and Workload Automation e.g. Control-M. Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, etc.) and encryption standards (PGP, TLS).
