App Dev & Support Engineer III

Key Responsibilities:

Application & Platform Deployment 

Deploy, upgrade, and maintain Lockbox application code within VMware Tanzu environments. 

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Tanzu platforms and supporting Kubernetes components. 

Ensure application deployments follow enterprise standards for reliability, security, and performance. 

Environment & Infrastructure Support

Review, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure issues impacting Tanzu clusters or Lockbox deployments.

Act as a technical escalation point for complex platform, deployment, or integration issues.

Support platform stability through proactive monitoring, logging, and capacity planning. Project & Platform Enablement

Work on Lockbox projects supporting CDS (Customer Delivery Services), TAP (Treasury Access Professional), and TMS (Transaction Management System).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform enhancements and application changes.

Operating Systems & Environment Management

Provide hands-on support for Windows and Linux operating systems that host Tanzu components and Lockbox dependencies. Ensure OS-level configuration, patching, and integrations meet operational and security standards.

Security & Best Practices

Apply DevSecOps principles to application deployments, including secure configuration, secrets handling, and access controls. Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and security remediation activities as required. Follow and promote enterprise Kubernetes and cloud-native best practices.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance deployment reliability, automation, and platform resilience. Contribute to documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge sharing. Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and platform teams to support evolving business and technology needs.
