Associate Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage cloud cost optimization strategies across AWS and GCP environments.
• Leverage native cloud services (AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, GCP Billing, Recommender, Rightsizing, etc.) for monitoring, analysis, and optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to drive FinOps best practices.
• Analyze cloud usage patterns and recommend actionable savings opportunities.
• Automate cost reporting, alerting, and optimization workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party cost optimization tools as needed.
• Support and enhance our in-house “Auto Park” solution for cloud cost management.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud pricing models, discounts, and optimization techniques.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud billing, cost management, and optimization services (e.g., AWS CUR, Cost Explorer, Savings Plans, GCP Billing, Recommender, Rightsizing).
• Experience implementing or working with cloud cost optimization tools (native or third-party).
• Good knowledge of FinOps principles and practices.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree.
