Job Description
Position Responsibilities

Define and validate system requirements, design, and architecture that effectively meet stakeholder needs and comply with relevant regulatory standards.

Capture requirements for safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human factors, security, certification, and product assurance.

Support stage gate reviews such as System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR), ensuring thorough evaluation.

Collaborate efficiently and respectfully with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, interfaces, and resolve technical challenges.

Participates in hardware and software integration, review and approve detailed test procedures (DTP and traceability) for system-level requirements, and support software/hardware teams during functional testing.

Adopts recommended practices for compliance with ARP4754, DO254, DO178 and DO160 standards.

Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to all stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or higher.
-
5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test within Safety-Critical or Aerospace domains.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Good understanding of aircraft system functioning and their integration with other systems.

Understanding of ARP4754, 4761, DO254, DO178 and DO160 standards.

Developed system requirements, interfaces, and performed system testing.

Developed low level Hardware Requirements
-
Experience in test planning, setup, test development, execution, conducting tests in a lab, production environment and environmental qualification testing.

Participated in Program Gate Reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and developed artifacts for gate reviews.
-
Experience in Requirements Management tools like IBM Rational DOORS is required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
