Work you’ll do

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate professional for a DevOps engineer position. Candidates with awareness of Azure cloud services, DevOps practices such as build/release management and general automation are preferred. This role will implement and support cloud solutions on MS Azure and processes leveraged by large number of applications hosted in our environment. Your scope is broad - implementing cloud and on-premise solutions for various application architectures, scripting, database and other data services – and you easily transition between those and handle multiple projects and priorities.

Technical Skills:

·3+ years of Azure PaaS experience including the deployment and support of custom-developed, enterprise solutions.

·3+ years of build and deployment automation (Continuous Integration/Delivery) experience.

·2+ years of experience architecting and managing large Kubernetes clusters.

·Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM at least 2 years of Terraform experience.

·Working knowledge in Docker and containerization technologies. Also, knowledge about container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and logging/monitoring tools for these orchestration tools.

·Build and maintain highly available systems on Kubernetes. Implement an auto-scaling system for our Kubernetes nodes. Experience with container networking on Docker.

·Well versed / hands on experience on various azure services like App Services, Storage accounts, SQL Azure, Service Bus, Cosmos, Application Insights, Azure Monitoring etc.

·Awareness of Windows Server, IIS and Azure DevOps is preferred.

·Experience in managing configuration for Azure cloud-based Application Development and Implementation, understands the various aspects of the DevOps strategy, writes scripts, creates CI/CD pipelines, automates testing workflow, automates infrastructure, collaborates, and communicates with others.

·Knowledge on PowerShell scripting is preferred.

·Good Analytical and Troubleshooting skills to work on Production issues / war room activities

·General knowledge of traditional network, firewalls, and load balancers

·Good communication and interpersonal skills

·Good technical documentation skills; workflows and support documentation

Nice to have

·Azure certifications

·Working experience in AWS, Google cloud platforms

   Responsibilities:

·Configure ARM (Azure Resource Manager) templates, following guidelines.

·Configure build and release pipelines for both cloud and on-premise solutions

·Monitor and support the deployment of both cloud and on-prem applications via automation tools and practices

·Respond to service requests in your team’s queue

·Participate in on call rotations that occur during normal hours within your time zone
