Azure Platform Engineer

Requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps or related fields.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions and App Services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep for infrastructure automation.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes and AKS is preferred.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• In-depth knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in Azure such as Azure Active Directory, RBAC, NSGs, firewalls, etc.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies and best practices.
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Preferred Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Certified Kubernetes Administrator is preferred.
