Cloud Architect (AKS)

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• Certifications in relevant technologies, cloud providers, or demonstration of ongoing learning
• 8+ years of experience in consulting services or similar roles focused on project-based work, and/or solution development.  
• Strong AKS experience (Designing, monitoring, solutioning) and expert understanding of cloud infrastructure, primarily Azure.
• Microservices architecture, and Hybrid cloud integration architecture.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as knowledge in container architectures and deployment
• Expert with Cloud Adoption Frameworks and Well-Architected Frameworks; have solid experience delivering CAF and WAF engagements
• Experience with on-prem to cloud migrations
• Experience designing and deploying cloud architectures that include disaster recovery sites, as well as designing, implementing and executing failovers and failbacks
• In-depth experience in automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Configuration-as-Code (CaC) and management of cloud hosted resources
• Experience working in a DevOps and Agile culture
• Experience with DevOps and IaC tools such as Hashicorp Terraform, Azure Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins is preferred
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet
• Background in application development, .Net, or other development frameworks is a plus
• Background in systems engineering, networking, and server infrastructure is helpful
• Azure Cloud architect certified
