Cloud Consultant

What you’ll do:

• Handle day to day cloud operations and ensure timely resolution of any technical issues or escalations.
• Deploy automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Bicep
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
• Optimize cloud performance, cost, and scalability based on analytics.
• Work with DevOps, IT, and development teams to ensure smooth cloud adoption.
• Ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources and identify opportunities to optimize costs.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and scalability of cloud-based services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Should have knowledge and work experience in Incident Management + Change Management (Planning and Execution) On-Call Escalation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• 3-5 years of extensive experience in infrastructure implementation, Automation, deployment, documenting and maintenance of Client/Server, Web based applications in multi - tiered architecture, Internet/Intranet infrastructure and clustered environments.
• Hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices (Jenkins/Gitlab).
• Experienced with Cloud (AWS or Azure) IaaS/PaaS Configuration and Administration of cloud Resources.
• Strong understanding of commonly used cloud services like WAF, SQL PaaS, AKS/EKS, ACR/ECR, API Management etc.
• Knowledge and experience with working on scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Golang.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Security Compliance and Vulnerability.
• Implementation, Maintenance and troubleshooting of Existing IT Infrastructure Environment including Application gateway, firewall management, Load balancing, VPN etc.
• Good knowledge on Active Directory, disaster recovery and backup solution.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills on Windows and Linux operating system.
• Basic Networking skills related to DNS & domain management.
• Awareness of ITIL Framework.
• Any AWS/Azure Cloud certifications.
