Cloud DevOps Engineer

To be successful as a Clouds DeveOps Engineer, you should have experience with:

• Proficiency in Linux (troubleshooting, networking and storage).

• Strong experience in scripting (preferred: Python / Bash / Go).

• Ability to work with containerised platforms such as OpenShift or any other similar Kubernetes based platform.

• Strong knowledge of working with VMs (upgrades, vulnerability and patching management etc.).

• Hands-on experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Maven.

• Solid understanding of container orchestration and modern platform engineering practices.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef or Ansible.

• Hand on experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Glue, Athena).

• Knowledge of Helm charts and GitOps-based deployment models.

• Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as ESaaS, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics and Opentelemetry stack.

• Understanding of building secure, scalable, and reliable platforms in an enterprise environment.

  • AI First mindset to effectively make use of agentic tools like M365 Copilot and Gitlab Duo.
