Cloud Engineer
Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP) and coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- 4 years of experience in designing and implementing technical solutions.
- Experience in designing and automating infrastructure components (e.g., compute, networking, storage and cloud native technologies) for scalability, high availability and performance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certifications in Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience managing customer/client-facing consulting projects to completion and handling technical delivery.
- Experience with implementing solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products.
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management.
