Cloud Engineer

Specific job responsibilities include:

• 7+ years of total experience
• management of our Kubernetes cluster
• running our Azure Subscription (e.g. increasing security, handling alerts)
• Collaborate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security and high availability in the Cloud
• working closely with our development teams to understand their needs and code infrastructure deployments in terraform
• keeping documentation concise, accurate and up to date
• Research new technologies and prototype new ideas
• contributing to a continual improvement in everything we do e.g., increasing automation, better observability, removal of technical debt
• Coordination of Bring your own Cloud offering with 3rd party vendors
• third level on-call support during critical periods
• Have an impact, by contributing to the Swiss Re Group Must Wins
