Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Support Test Specialist to join our Technology team in Pune. This role involves acting as an application subject matter expert, validating incidents, performing rapid regression testing, and collaborating with development and support teams. The individual will ensure operational excellence through proactive analysis, automation framework design, and documentation, while maintaining compliance with SLAs.
What you’ll do
- Act as the application SME to validate reported incidents and route them to appropriate support teams.
- Perform verification and validation activities for quick fixes, ensuring timely and accurate incident response.
- Conduct incident validation, rapid regression testing for hotfixes, and collaborate with support teams.
- Build strong application and business knowledge to support operational excellence.
- Work closely with development teams during refinement sessions and UAT.
- Design and implement automation frameworks aligned with project structures.
- Create, enhance, debug, and execute test cases.
- Organise and monitor defect management processes, handle changes, and conduct regression tests.
- Ensure version control and configuration management of all test objects and environments.
- Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate.
