Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer

What you’ll do 

• Design lifecycle management operation automation and architecture concepts, tools, and processes 
• Drive issue resolution together with the teams and utilize the expert network 
• Drive technology discussions and innovations. Be the escalation point for technical issues 
• Analyze technical requirements and organize / co-ordinate experts from Enterprise Cloud Services and development and drive these topics to resolution 
• Optimize and stabilize the standardization and automation behind customer service requests and procedures in a proactive way leveraging analytical tools and capabilities 
   

What you bring

• Engineering or equivalent degree with five to seven years of work experience in infrastructure operations and automation.
• Proficiency in automating and optimizing processes 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Prior experience in infrastructure operations and automation. Knowledge as technical/basis consultant or technical project manager is beneficial
• Experience in script programming, automation tools and markup language (e.g. Shell, Perl, Python, Ansible, YAML etc.), preferable Ansible
• Good understanding of various hyperscalers incl. IBM Cloud, MS Azure, AWS, GCP and their cloud native capabilities
• Fluency written and spoken in English
