Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Function as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to develop and deploy cloud-based infrastructure in public or private cloud platforms.
- Participate in Agile ways of working to help deliver our products and reach delivery on project commitments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of cloud services.
- Assist with design reviews and creation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud provisioning.
- Be passionate about scripting, developing, crafting, and evolving automation following best practices and principles.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies.
- Enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands virtually dirty.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- 1 to 2 years’ experience with development & deployment of cloud-based infrastructure in public or private cloud platforms.
- Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell etc.
- Practical ability to work on operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- This is a Junior Development role: The monthly salary offered for this role will be between R$ 7.000,00 - R$ 8.000,00
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Demonstrable knowledge & hands-on experience within public or private cloud environments in one or more of the following areas:
- Development and implementation of automation scripts using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Deployment of secure cloud-based network solutions, incl firewalls, load balancers etc.
- Network security protocols & best practices.
- Security best practices and policies, including access controls, encryption, and identity management.
- Deployment & management of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
- Integration and management of Active Directory services
- IBM WebSphere MQ
- Configuration and deployment of databases (Mongo/Oracle)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in creating automation pipelines using CI/CD and version control systems e.g. Git., or other such tools.
