Cloud Operations Engineer II

A week in the life of an AWS Ops Engineer:

• Supporting the company-defined AWS cloud strategy.
• Enjoying solving problems, working with customers, and have technical backgrounds from a variety of different fields
• Collaborating and working very closely with Site Reliability Engineering and Security teams.
• Providing general guidance on questions from internal customers to troubleshooting and reproducing complex performance issues 
• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting release and configuration management
• Actively participating in change and incident management processes and coordinating several stakeholders.
• Ensuring day to day world class support to internal engineering and services teams.
• Analyzing and solving operational problems across functional components
• Making sure about continuous Gemalto AWS cloud improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• To succeed at this job, you must have a strong customer focus and prior experience as a Cloud Operations Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• You must have past experiences on Linux/Windows based OS, experience in monitoring/logging like Splunk.
• We would like someone to join our team who will have a strong customer focus and who is comfortable in an ambiguous, ever changing environment. Have experience with incident and change management process.
