Job Description
- Candidates should have good knowledge in Linux OS and cloud infrastructure components like virtualization, Load Balancers, etc.
- Candidates will be part of Cloud and Infra operations team who is responsible to manage Zoho's various Data Centers located across the globe.
- Data Center management includes complete lifecycle of servers, storage servers and other supporting systems.
- Should be interested to work in 24x7 rotational shift, which includes monitoring of servers & Zoho applications and prepare RCA for any incidents.
- Configuration and provisioning of Linux OS for large number of servers using automated installation methods.
- Management of various infrastructure components such as DNS/ DHCP/ NTP/ Proxy/ OS Image Servers / Load Balancers.
- Work includes periodic validation of DR data centers across the globe.
- Good knowledge in different open source tools like Puppet / Ansible for automation and other tasks like package management.
- Knowledge in shell / python scripts.
- Knowledge in basic networking concepts like VLAN, NAT, ARP, basic FW and Switch configuration.
- Basic knowledge in SaaS components like RDBMS, NoSQL, Hadoop, etc.
- Knowledge in server hardware components like CPU, different types of drives, internal design / connectivity, etc.
- Good co-ordination & communications skills to work with different nature of teams ( ex. network, framework , devops, application development and support teams )
- Must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision and handle multiple priorities.
- Candidates should have interest in learning new technologies in OS, servers hardware, cloud components, etc
