Cloud Ops Engineer

Objective #1:Support Customer Growth 

• Contribute to building a DevOps culture organization-wide  

• Deploy and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure for prospects and hosted customers  

• Perform daily system administration tasks to verify uptime SLAs are surpassed  

• Collaborate with Development and QA Teams to advance platform deployment innovation  

• Adhere to compliance policies for effective change management 

Objective #2: Eliminate Escalations 

• Collaborate with leadership to keep the organizational delivery strategy moving forward 

• Improve monitoring so our team is the first to know about issues…and takes action  

• Contribute to a shared script repository for driving expected outcomes at scale 

• Contribute to a department resource library for effective knowledge sharing 

• Participate in calls to support projects, initiatives, and incident response as needed 

• Occasionally participate in after-hours maintenance and critical coverage shifts 

• Research industry trends and security best practices to ensure data integrity 

Specialized Experience 

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to make decisions under pressure 

• Ability to think and communicate effectively with a global team 

• Attention to detail with the ability to collect and analyze data systematically 

• Knowledge of underlying technologies (SQL, HTTP, SSL, DNS, Load Balancers, VPC’s, Transit Gateway, VPN, caching, etc) 

• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, Kaseya, Powershell, Bash, Terraform, Docker, etc) 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Passion to innovate, fail, and learn new things to delight customers.
