Job Description
- Own validation of assigned features across supported desktop and mobile client platforms.
- Development of common automation libraries within the defined automation framework.
- Development of Automated test cases for existing and new features for the client application.
- Integration of automated test suits to CI pipeline, automation execution and triaging any failures.
- Design, document, and execute functional, regression, integration, upgrade, and customer workflow test scenarios.
- Validate secure access, authentication, policy enforcement, connectivity, and endpoint compliance workflows.
- Perform hands-on debugging of client, OS, network, configuration, and environment-related issues.
- Reproduce field/customer-reported issues and provide clear technical analysis with logs, steps, impact, and supporting evidence.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation coverage by updating test cases, improving stability, and analyzing failures.
- Participate in defect triage, release readiness reviews, test planning, and coverage discussions.
- Collaborate with development, automation, support, product, and cross-functional teams to improve quality and testability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, diagnostics, automation efficiency, and release confidence.
What you will bring :
Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum education at BE or Master level in Computer Science or related fields.
- 5-8 years of relevant industry experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong hands-on QA experience in validating enterprise endpoint/client applications across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and/or iOS platforms.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Exposure to automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium and Appium.
- Experience in automating client applications on Desktop and mobile platforms.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, MTU, proxies, firewalls, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, certificates, and packet flow analysis.
- Working knowledge of VPN and secure access technologies such as IPsec/IKEv2, SSL VPN, WireGuard, secure tunnels, split tunnel/full tunnel behavior, ZTNA, SASE/SSE, and identity-aware access control.
- Experience analyzing endpoint connectivity issues using platform-specific tools across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS for packet capture, DNS/routing validation, TLS/certificate inspection, system log analysis, process/service checks, and client diagnostic bundle review.
- Exposure to authentication and access flows such as SSO, SAML, OIDC, MFA, token/session expiry, certificate-based authentication, and posture-based access.
