Cloud Solutions Architect Azure

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of IT experience with at least 7-10 years in cloud architecture, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure.
• Deep understanding of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Storage.
• Extensive experience with cloud security practices, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection techniques in Azure.
• Strong firsthand experience with Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates.
• Proven experience in large-scale cloud migrations, cloud-native application design, and multi-cloud integrations.
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting in Azure environments, leveraging tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Log Analytics.
• Solid knowledge of networking and hybrid cloud solutions, including VPNs, VNETs, and ExpressRoute.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other scripting languages for automation.
• Strong critical thinking skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
• Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with serverless computing on Azure (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
• Knowledge of DevOps culture and processes.
