Cloud Solutions Architect

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have an opportunity to:

• Perform design and implementation of infrastructure on AWS with the focus on High Availability, Reliability and Security.
• Continuously evolve existing infrastructure and solutions for improving operational efficiency and reducing cost.
• Collaborate with application development team and identify the right cloud components and solutions for business-critical services and apps.
• Investigate root cause of severe and systemic outages, identify corrective actions and apply across the enterprise
• Provide technical leadership in adopting modern architecture methodologies and industry best practices.
• Continuously evolve DevSecOps environment for improving developer productivity.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud solutioning including computing, network, storage and security.

• Ensure solutions are aligned to business architecture and vision.
 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with at least years of experience 10 years.

1.    Solution Design & Architecture

·       Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions

·       Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles

·       Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams

·       Architect high-availability and disaster recovery solutions

·       Design secure network and infrastructure solutions

2.    Technical Leadership & Advisory

·       Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews

·       Evaluate and recommend appropriate AWS services

·       Provide technical mentorship and guidance

·       Stay current with AWS services and features

·       Conduct Well-Architected Reviews

3.    Customer & Stakeholder Management

·       Understand and translate business requirements

·       Bridge communication between technical and business teams

·       Work with AWS account teams and service teams

·       Build and maintain strong customer relationships

·       Lead solution-focused training sessions

4.    Security & Compliance

·       Implement AWS security best practices

·       Design compliant infrastructure solutions

·       Advise on identity and access management

·       Ensure proper security controls and monitoring

·       Guide security architecture decisions

5.    Optimization & Innovation

·       Implement cost optimization strategies

·       Design for performance and scalability

·       Monitor and analyze cloud spending

·       Recommend innovative solutions
