Cloud and DevOps Architect

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture:
  • Design and implement robust and scalable cloud architectures on Azure.
  • Define and enforce cloud governance standards and best practices.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Migrate existing applications to the cloud, leveraging Azure services effectively.
• DevOps Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Promote a DevOps culture and foster collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline software delivery.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  • Use IaC tools like Terraform to manage infrastructure.
  • Define and maintain configuration management scripts.
  • Ensure consistency and reproducibility of infrastructure deployments.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices and controls to protect cloud resources.
  • Stay up to date with security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
  • Establish effective monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Analyse system performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Mentor and guide team members on DevOps practices and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Share knowledge and best practices within the organization.
