Computer Scientist I

Responsibilities:  

Develop automation tools for cloud infrastructure management 
Design, develop systems for metrics collection, monitoring, log analysis, detect anomalies, and alerting 
Document development, deployment, operations and change control procedures 
Collaborate with architects, product management and other engineering teams to create the technical vision, and road map for the team 
 
Must Have:
 1) Bachelors/master’s in computer science or a related field
2) 4-6 years of Devops (Development + Ops) experience.
3) Strong problem-solving skills. Good learning skills with strong attention to detail.
4) Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS, Docker, CI & CD processes and tools
5) Good understanding in Python/Java or any other language, with a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
6) Experience in REST APIs/ API development
7) Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as NewRelic, Prometheus, Splunk, PagerDuty etc.
8) Be on an on-call rotation to debug and respond to incidents. 
 
Nice to Have:
·       Working experience in Infra as a Code AWS CDK, Terrafor , Azure ARM templates is desirable.
·       Experience with message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ
·       Experience with microservices based applications.
