Consultant - JIRA Job

Responsibilities

• Analyse the new JIRA/Service desk project request, Discuss it with the project team and provide the best solution that suits their requirement.
• Upgrade JIRA and Confluence at frequent intervals.
• Migration from on-premise to Data Center.
• Handle the Data center Installation, monitoring and upgrades.
• Migration of JIRA and Confluence from on-premise to Cloud.
• Design the workflow, screens, issue types, issue security scheme, field configuration, permission scheme, notification schemes, and custom fields that suit the requirement of the project team so that JIRA can be utilized for different types of tracking.
• Provide JIRA, JIRA Agile, and Service Desk Training to newcomers and new teams
• Set up JIRA Service Desk projects for the users and customize the customer portal, queue, workflow, SLA, Automation, etc based on project needs
• Setup Confluence space and customization
• JIRA to Confluence, JIRA to JIRA Integration through the application link.
• Setup Agile and Kanban Boards, Filters, Dashboards, Gadgets, and Reports as per the user needs.
• Re-Index JIRA in a timely manner, and restart JIRA when needed.
• Data Import to JIRA using CSV.
• Provide solutions to customer queries
• Troubleshoot the issues, debug log errors, and resolve production issues.

• Zephyr – For Test Management

• JIRA-Gitlab integration, JIRA-Bucket integration, JIRA-Jenkins Integration, JIRA-Outlook Integration, JIRA-Tasktop integration

 Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in JIRA and Atlassian tools.
• Should have implemented and worked on JIRA migrations within on-premise and datacentre.
• Linux application installation and troubleshooting on logs and backed in database.
• JIRA SIL scripting knowledge is added advantage.
• Integration between applications is a must. ( Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitLab )
• Customization and Plugin knowledge is a must.
• Should have good grasp on JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket security issues and how to resolve
• Good analytical skills and should be able to grasp existing systems and propose solutions accordingly
• Experience in communication with clients and handling escalations.
• Cloud Migrations experience is added.
• Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and focused on delivering value quickly
