Senior Software Engineer - Java

• Full-Stack Application Development: Code, design, test, and implement basic to moderately complex software applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Cloud Architecture & Engineering: Build and deploy application instances on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while formulating logic to align system interactions.
• Testing, Quality & Microservices: Analyze, modify, and develop structured unit testing configurations to perform testing and validation requirements for moderately complex code changes.
• Standards, Security & PCI Compliance: Enforce corporate infrastructure application standards, data monitoring controls, and Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance.
• Collaborative Solutioning: Participate in client-facing technical meetings, joint venture discussions, and vendor partnership teams to determine technical approach options.
• Project Estimation & Engineering Mentorship: Compute reliable billable hour allocations and resource estimates for initiatives while assisting with on-the-job training for peer software engineers.

What you’ll bring

• Educational Foundation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Core Professional Experience: Minimum of 6 years of deep professional experience in full lifecycle software coding, system designing, multi-platform development, and data analysis.
• Backend Framework & Language Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Java, Python, and Spring Boot development alongside structural familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Web UI & Database Literacy: Hands-on proficiency with frontend web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, React.js) and relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server).
• API & Distributed Systems Knowledge: Practical experience working with external web services, enterprise API integrations, and modern cloud deployment patterns.
• Autonomous Problem Solving: Journey-level professional capability to resolve wide-ranging scope issues creatively, requiring little instruction on day-to-day work.
