Senior Test Engineer-UI Automation

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks following industry best practices.
Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Perform manual functional testing for new features before automating test cases.
Execute automation suites and analyze test execution results to ensure application quality.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to enable continuous testing.
Validate APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured (if applicable).
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application compatibility.
Review test cases, automation scripts, and test results to improve overall test coverage and quality.
Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status, risks, and defects to stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and quality assurance practices

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Strong experience in Java programming.
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
Knowledge of test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
Experience with Maven/Gradle and version control tools like Git.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Good analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
