Job Description
• Solution Delivery
o Design, develop, test, and deliver technical solutions to agreed scope, cost, and schedule.
o Implement robust data models, views, and integrations across SQL Server, Denodo, Power BI, and Business Objects.
• Collaboration & Ways of Working
o Operate autonomously and within cross-functional teams spanning D&A, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
o Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, well-documented technical designs.
• Quality & Reliability
o Maintain quality, reliability, and availability of production applications and analytics platforms.
o Participate in incident/major incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Platform Operations
o Coordinate with Infrastructure for maintenance windows, patching, upgrades, and verification.
o Contribute to and follow change, release, and configuration management processes.
• Mentorship & Standards
o Provide technical guidance to junior engineers; promote code reviews, branching strategies, observability, and documentation standards.
• Continuous Improvement
o Identify opportunities to optimize performance, cost, and developer productivity.
o Stay current with platform roadmaps and evolving technologies used across the organization.
