Job Description
- Infrastructure Operations
- Maintain and support platform deployment stacks across Kubernetes distributions, including K8s, OpenShift, Rancher, OKE, GKE, and EKS.
- Deploy and manage private, public, and hybrid cloud environments on AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and other IaaS providers.
- Deploy data centre environments across bare metal, virtualised, and cloud-native instances.
- Provide architectural guidance for infrastructure services enabling product build, test, and delivery.
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Automate and standardise cloud-ready infrastructure and operational workflows.
- Build automation to improve the speed, reliability, and repeatability of deployments.
- (Bonus) Contribute to tooling using Go or Python.
- CI/CD & Platform Enablement
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Enable developers and QA teams with reliable platform services for testing, staging, and production environments.
- Observability, Reliability & Incident Response
- Support monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting for platform uptime, configuration, and audit readiness.
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues across Kubernetes and cloud environments.
- Drive performance optimization, scalability improvements, and cost efficiency.
- Security & Governance
- Integrate cloud and container security best practices into deployment workflows.
- Work with change management and incident management tools to ensure SLDC compliance.
- Collaboration & Influence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, cloud operations, and product.
- Mentor team members and contribute to DevOps best practices across Helix’s multi-cloud ecosystem.
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and technical recommendations effectively across a global team.
