DevOps Engineer III

• Infrastructure Operations
  • Maintain and support platform deployment stacks across Kubernetes distributions, including K8s, OpenShift, Rancher, OKE, GKE, and EKS.
  • Deploy and manage private, public, and hybrid cloud environments on AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and other IaaS providers.
  • Deploy data centre environments across bare metal, virtualised, and cloud-native instances.
  • Provide architectural guidance for infrastructure services enabling product build, test, and delivery.

• Infrastructure as Code & Automation
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
  • Automate and standardise cloud-ready infrastructure and operational workflows.
  • Build automation to improve the speed, reliability, and repeatability of deployments.
  • (Bonus) Contribute to tooling using Go or Python.

• CI/CD & Platform Enablement
  • Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Enable developers and QA teams with reliable platform services for testing, staging, and production environments.

• Observability, Reliability & Incident Response
  • Support monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting for platform uptime, configuration, and audit readiness.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues across Kubernetes and cloud environments.
  • Drive performance optimization, scalability improvements, and cost efficiency.

• Security & Governance
  • Integrate cloud and container security best practices into deployment workflows.
  • Work with change management and incident management tools to ensure SLDC compliance.

• Collaboration & Influence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, cloud operations, and product.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to DevOps best practices across Helix’s multi-cloud ecosystem.
  • Communicate risks, dependencies, and technical recommendations effectively across a global team.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 

• Experience
  • 7–10 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting Kubernetes platforms (K8s, OpenShift, Rancher, EKS, GKE, OKE).
  • Strong experience with at least one public cloud: AWS, GCP, or OCI.
  • Experience supporting cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and enterprise-grade operational practices.
  • Experience with networking, DNS, and basic database management is a plus.
  • Experience with Spectro Cloud or other Kubernetes orchestration management platforms is a plus.
