DevOps Engineer

ANSR is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Git, Jenkins, AWS, and Ubuntu to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Design, build and maintain the continuous integration and deployment infrastructure using Gitlab, Jenkins, and AWS.
• Develop and implement automation scripts for software builds and deployments.
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of software.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software builds and deployments.
• Monitor and maintain the production environment to ensure high availability and performance.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure the security and compliance of the software and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience in Git, Jenkins, AWS, and Ubuntu is a must
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Knowledge of systems and platforms security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud platform
• Proficiency in ECS, Docker, and Helm
• Solid knowledge of networking, DNS, VPC, and load balancing concepts
• Experience with logging & monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)

Added Advantages:

• Incident Management: Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability
• Good understanding of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance (SOC2, ISO27001)
