Sr. Data Migration Engineer

• Perform data migration of both structured and unstructured data from various EMR systems, ensuring seamless migration to new EMR platforms and archives.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned EMR data migration projects, responsible for ensuring all project timelines are met.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand their project scope, analyze their data, and develop a detailed delivery plan.
• Proactively identify potential issues and implement resolution strategies to minimize any impact on the project.
• Conduct data validation and testing to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the migrated data.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments, ensuring alignment and timely execution of deliverables across various internal and external teams.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, facilitating knowledge transfer and fostering a collaborative environment within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years’ Experience with data analysis and SQL.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in healthcare environments, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and other regulations.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
