Sr Test Engineer

Experience with ABB 800xA Products 
.            Understanding Alarm and Event (A&E) Systems 
.            Understanding how data is logged over time (e.g., historical process data, system performance, etc.) 
.            Knowledge and Hands-on  latest 800xA version along with ABB OPC UA Server and connect functionality will be an added advantage

2.    Understanding of OPC UA Protocol
               
3.    Knowledge or Hands-on experience with OPC UA client tools (e.g., UA Expert, Matrikon OPC Explorer) to interact with OPC UA servers and verify communication and data flow.
4.    Should have experience in Test Case Design, Ability to design comprehensive test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
5.    Should have experience of Manual and Regression Testing 

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to set up and execute tests for different products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will perform your tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as a practical understanding of concepts used in the field of technology. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Process Control Platform Division in Bangalore Location .

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design Use cases and Test Cases based on the requirements.
• Design test bench and environment based on the requirement.
•  Knowledge on the different test techniques & test strategy for different test phases 
• Automation of Test Cases and Scripting, planning and Execution of automated and manual test cases.
• Co-ordinate with various development teams for defect management and follow ups.
•  Support the test team for execution and maintenance of Automated Test cases 
• Drives root cause analysis for critical and most common issues found in tests and tune the automation. 

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
