We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

Develop software to integrate with numerous internal back end systems
Develop scripts to automate infrastructure build
Deploy updates and fixes and provide technical support
Support and develop CI-CD pipelines
Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously assessing vulnerability and adhering to HSBC controls

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

5+ years of experience in a DevOps role within an agile delivery environment.
Experience designing and building highly scalable and resilient platforms and applications.
Experience working with third party cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud and GCP.
Experience working with virtualization, automation and scheduling technologies, such as Jenkins; Terraform; Ansible Tower; Puppet; Control-M; GIT.
Experience working with Containerization technologies like Docker (to build images) along with Container Orchestration technologies like Kubernetes (to deploy images)
Experience working with Container Security technologies like Aquasec
Knowledge of Python, MSSQL, MongoDB, IP networking and Linux will be an advantage.
Experience working within an enterprise scale organisation; including hands-on experience of complex data centre environments, preferably in the finance or similarly regulated sector.
Experience defining and refining operational procedures, workflows and processes to support the team in consistent and high quality execution of issue monitoring and detection.

- Ability to work in a fast paced, team focused environment with a proven track record of delivering and completing assigned tasks as an individual and as team.
