Senior Data Engineer

• Build, enhance, and operate internal data pipelines for AArete's healthcare payer payments product, with a focus on claims processing, contract configuration, fee-for-service reimbursement logic, and payment-integrity analytics.

• Develop Snowflake ELT workflows, stored procedures, dynamic SQL, query-optimization patterns, and data models across star, snowflake, or hybrid schemas.

• Write production-grade Python for data transformation, API integrations, and web-scraping workflows using libraries or frameworks such as BeautifulSoup or Scrapy where relevant.

• Orchestrate reliable data workflows using Apache Airflow, preferably AWS MWAA, and integrate AWS services including S3, Lambda, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.

• Use Git-based version control and CI/CD practices to ship maintainable data-engineering changes, review AI-assisted code output, and collaborate with distributed US and India stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of data-engineering experience with strong hands-on depth in Snowflake, complex SQL, Python, Airflow, AWS, Git, and CI/CD-backed delivery.

• Can design and optimize Snowflake data models and pipelines, write complex joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, and dynamic SQL, and debug performance issues independently.

• Has at least some healthcare-domain exposure; US payer, claims, reimbursement, payment integrity, provider data, or payer-analytics experience is the strongest signal, but broader healthcare exposure is acceptable.

• Comfortable using AI coding assistants to accelerate engineering work while reviewing, testing, and quality-assuring the generated output rather than accepting it blindly.
