Sr. Software Engineer

• Engineer high-scale solutions using Java 17+, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Microservices, Kafka, and NoSQL technologies.
• Design and implement AI Agents to automate repetitive development tasks, including auto-generating boilerplate code, mapping complex DTOs, and managing script maintenance for evolving APIs.
• Ensure 100% unit testing coverage using JUnit and Mockito by leveraging LLMs to generate edge-case test scenarios and test data for complex supply chain workflows.
• Propose multiple technical solutions and evaluate how Agentic AI workflows can improve long-term system maintainability compared to traditional hard-coded approaches.
• Lead research initiatives and proof of concepts involving LangChain or Semantic Kernel to enable natural language querying of inventory and order data.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with Pune and global onsite teams.
• Solve technical problems using cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
• Ensure code meets required development standards and is optimized for performance.
• Participate in peer code reviews using Git pull requests.
• Ensure all aspects of technical design are correctly incorporated.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java/J2EE design and development with a strong focus on Spring Cloud and Microservices.
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools.
• Understanding of building autonomous agents to handle routine coding and development tasks.
• Proficiency in React development.
• Strong SQL experience using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases including Cassandra.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with code quality and static analysis tools such as SonarQube and Checkstyle.
• Experience driving automation initiatives to reduce scripting and maintenance effort.
• Good communication skills.
