What you'll do
- Design and development of a scalable, efficient, and user-centric UI framework using modern web technologies and data visualization libraries.
- Design, develop, and maintain workflows to integrate diverse security solutions, enabling seamless orchestration across platforms.
- Design, develop, and manage Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) frameworks
- Develop and integrate centralized reporting systems that provide actionable insights and data-driven visualizations for stakeholders.
- Optimize the performance of user interfaces and backend systems to handle and visualize large-scale data efficiently.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate security tools and platforms into a unified ecosystem, enhancing organizational visibility and operational efficiency.
- Build robust APIs and data pipelines to facilitate real-time communication and data exchange between security systems and reporting platforms.
- Develop business-critical solutions using Java or Python, demonstrating proficiency in full-stack or backend development rather than scripting.
- Incorporate foundational cybersecurity principles into the design and development of security solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align development goals with organizational objectives, and ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
- Continuously research and stay informed about the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to enhance the organization's overall security posture and implement proactive measures
- Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate security posture, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and security best practices within the organization.
What you bring
- Proven 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) systems to enhance incident response efficiency.
- Ability to design and implement workflows that integrate diverse security tools and solutions, ensuring seamless operations.
- Expertise in building user-centric UI frameworks from scratch using modern web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
- Backend technologies such as Node.js, Django, Spring Boot, or Flask.
- Database management, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
- RESTful API design and implementation for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
- Experience in optimizing UI performance while handling large-scale data and ensuring efficient data visualization.
- Solid understanding of fundamental cybersecurity principles and their practical applications in securing systems and workflows.
