Software Testing

Job Description We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Playwright, PyTest, and Python, along with a practical, detail-oriented approach to ensuring software quality. Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, Load Testing, and testing AI-enabled applications is preferred. This role involves contributing to test strategy, test execution, automation development, and continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing. • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, PyTest, and Python. • Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the defect lifecycle. • Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. • Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and release readiness activities. • Create and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, test data, and test reports. • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute to process improvements. • Enhance test frameworks and promote automation best practices. • Work closely with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and quality assurance activities. • Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience in both manual and automation testing. • Strong hands-on experience with: • Playwright • PyTest • Python • API testing • Good understanding of test design techniques, test execution, and defect management. • Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing. • Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). • Ability to analyze requirements and create effective test scenarios and test cases. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking, test management, and Agile project collaboration. • Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience with Selenium WebDriver. • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. • Experience with Load/Performance Testing tools and methodologies. • Experience testing AI-enabled applications, including validation of AI-generated responses and AI-assisted workflows. • Experience with API testing tools and modern test automation practices.
