DevOps Manager - I

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement DevOps strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage DevOps and software engineering teams to foster a collaborative culture.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline design, automation, testing and maintenance, with a strong focus on Jenkins.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive solutions.
• Promote continuous improvement and adoption of DevOps best practices across teams

Skillset Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years of experience in leading a team of 5-8 team members.
• Experience in automating application development, release, and deployment cycles is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a full stack software engineer and in a DevOps leadership role.
• Deep understanding of Jenkins for CI/CD, including pipeline scripting, job orchestration.
• Experience in Shell Scripting for automation tasks is mandatory.
• Experience with Maven and Ant Script for build automation is good to have.
• Knowledge in scripting skills like Python, Bash, Groovy is good to have.
• Knowledge of InstallShield or other installer software for application packaging is good to have.
• Preferred to Project management certification
• Experience in RDBMS is good to have.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
