DevOps/Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:

As a DevOps/Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and deploying robust, scalable, and highly available applications on AWS.
• Managing and orchestrating containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configuring and troubleshooting VPC networks to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.
• Implementing and maintaining comprehensive monitoring solutions using tools like Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog, and New Relic to ensure optimal system performance and proactive issue resolution.
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, Shell, and Java to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborating closely with development and operations teams to foster a culture of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues on time.
• Ensuring adherence to best practices in cloud security and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proven expertise in EC2, Docker, Kubernetes, and VPC.
• Demonstrable experience with monitoring and dashboarding tools, specifically Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog, and New Relic.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Shell, and Java.
• Certifications in DevOps or Cloud Computing (AWS certifications preferred) are highly valued.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles.
