DevSecops Engineer

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, security or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Designing, developing and implementing security for cloud infrastructure environment that is supporting containers.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting container-based environments, proactively identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, and weaknesses.
• Implementing and enforcing security best practices to safeguard our systems and data.
• Operationalize off the shelf application security tools to help engineering teams build, deploy, and deliver secure software.
• Designing, deploying, managing and improve critical security infrastructure services/tools for authentication and authorization, secrets management, logging, detection, vulnerability management, and application security.
• Ensuring technology implementation and software development methodology aligns with information security policies and improves security posture.
• Responsible for threat management, security monitoring, trend correlation, and incident management, including security violations and exceptions.
• Provide recommendations on security requirements to be included in software design and security testing.
• Designing and implementing cyber security and operations procedures, tasks, and reports. Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to improve workflow and mitigate risk.
• Serving as the subject matter expert for supported security technologies and acts, for example, subject matter expertise during escalations.
• Serving as a security expert in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
